SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Three decades between the DJ booth, the studio and club culture.
Alen Kranzelić, known as Alen Oversound, is a Zagreb DJ and producer whose work has been connected to the Croatian electronic scene since 1995. His path spans clubs, radio, vinyl culture, production and releases, including current work for Bonzai Progressive.
He held residencies at Jedinica and The Best, as well as at Body & Soul, VIP Room and FutureScope nights at the former OTV Dom, today’s Boogaloo. In 2024, Manifest, the album created with Cortex Thrill, received Porin and Elector nominations.
FULL BIOGRAPHY
A continuous presence on the scene.
Alen’s first performances date back to Zagreb’s Garage club in 1995. The years that followed connected DJ residencies, radio shows and the Oversound vinyl shop, one of Croatia’s early specialist record shops, with an expanding production catalogue.
His residencies included Jedinica and The Best, alongside Body & Soul, VIP Room and FutureScope at the former OTV Dom, now Boogaloo. Rather than being defined by a single genre, his DJ work moves across different strands of electronic music according to the context of the set.
As Oversound, he continues to release music through Bonzai Progressive. His collaboration with Cortex Thrill led to the 2024 album Manifest, followed by nominations for both the Porin and Elector awards.
